thank you for this! i'm reminded of Image Rehearsal Therapy which i recently learned can be useful in treating PTSD nightmares (https://www.verywellmind.com/imagery-rehearsal-therapy-2797304)

i loled at "If you have a dream of an ornithologist in Tampa, it doesn’t automatically mean that some part of you is ornithological, or Tampa."

Oh thank you!! Incredible healing is possible via dreams, but I always want to add a note to something like this, that working with dreams can't fix everything (particularly phenomena as complex as ptsd). But dreams do at least reflect back to me how and to what extent the other stuff I'm experimenting with is working. Lol I'm going to dream of Tampa now.

so i woke up this morning having dreamt of ordering pamphlets for gay pride (my POV was a gay man's) that featured a graphic of fireworks that exploded with blue color lines (instead of yellow & red color lines) and i was drawing the proof of concept on a piece of paper with a blue pencil and everyone approved of this renegade idea to use blue instead of yellow or red.

your blue pencil is making the rounds!!

Love it!! So many cultures think of dreams as more than personal contents, it can be a rather wonderful experience and mysteriously nutritious when they're shared.
